Coming to Slovakia
Every person over 12 years of age coming to Slovakia has an obligation to register in the eHranica form. The rules of entry into Slovakia and subsequent home isolation are differentiated according to the age of the person and on the basis of other conditions. All conditions for entry to Slovakia, home isolation and exceptions. Those students who are ordered to be isolated in a home environment or quarantine accommodation have to manage it by themselves. Protective measures
There are some easy protective measures that can slow down the spread of the coronavirus and other transmitted diseases:
● washing or disinfecting hands regularly
● wearing a protective mask that cover both your nose and mouth in indoor places (it is MANDATORY in all the public transport and shops, indoors with the exception food and drinks consumption: COVID-19 restrictions in Slovakia)
● avoid shaking hands and close contact with large public groups
● using a paper tissue when coughing or sneezing
● stay home when you feel unwell and contact your doctor in case of symptoms (e.g. fever, cough, difficulty breathing)

All STU students will be informed about any developments about the start of the academic year via emails from their faculty study departments. Please keep an eye on the website of your faculty, and the COVID-19 information university website as well. If you have any questions about the organization of the academic year, accommodation, or any other study related questions, please contact the study department of your faculty directly.
